Her attendant (also named Kim) wore a fabulous dress by Vera Wang.

I first want to thank all of you for
making my wedding so special.
I always felt as if I was the only bride you were working with.
My wedding was perfect,
and that is due so much to the hard work
that you and your staff did.
I don't think that I can ever thank you enough.

The afternoon that you called to tell me
that the bridesmaid dresses
were no longer made, but that you had already
gone ahead and purchased the fabric from Dessy
to make the dresses yourself,
I knew that it was all going to be OK.
I never worried again.
The dresses were beautiful!

And of course, my beautiful "Petal" dress -
the dress that I didn't want to take off -
the dress that I am so sad will spend the rest of my life
packed in a box.
I love that dress!
I love the bow headpiece and gloves
and the banded satin shoes,
and the long cathedral-length veiling.
I felt like such a princess!

It was so wonderful to have Kathy
at the church when I arrived
to fix my dress as I went down the aisle
and then to help me with my dress
for the receiving line.
Not to mention that it meant so much to my Mom and I
to just plain have you there,
(and we wish that Jane could have made it too,
but understand that it was June
and there were other brides that needed her!)
